Online Driver Improvement Course 

Why Am I Taking This Driver Improvement Clinic? You may be enrolled in this course for one of the following reasons:

# 1. Court Requirement

You have been ordered by a court to complete a Driver Improvement Clinic.

# 2. DMV Requirement - The Virginia DMV requires you to complete this clinic.

Important:

• You must complete the full 8-hour course within 90 days.

• Failure to complete the course by the DMV deadline will result in the suspension of your driving privileges until the requirement is met.

# 3. License Reinstatement

Your driver's license has been revoked, and completion of this course is required as part of the reinstatement process.

# 4. Voluntary Attendance

If you hold a Virginia driver's license, you may choose to take this course voluntarily to:

• Earn up to 5 safe driving points on your driving record.

• Potentially qualify for an insurance premium discount.

Note: Insurance discounts vary by provider. Contact your insurance company to determine whether they offer a discount for completing a Driver Improvement Clinic.

Course Length: 8 Hours

When do I get my Certificate of Completion?

Once you have successfully completed the course by passing the final exam online, we will email you a course completion certificate. 

Please note : Completion certificate is a DMV-developed manual process so your certificate will be emailed to you after being fully processed usually within 2 business days from the date of your course completion and payment.
